Ms. Sylvia Marie Miles of South Boston, VA died Thursday, July 20th at the age of 66.

Ms. Miles was born in Halifax County, VA on December 22, 1956 to the late Clyde Sydnor and Emma Alfreda Noblin Sydnor and was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Ms. Miles is survived by (3) children: Tony Miles, Jr., Michael Miles and LaToya Miles; (3) brothers: Clyde Sydnor, Clarence Sydnor and Donald Harris; (3) sisters: Nancy Sydnor, Amy Williams and Jean Harris; (1) aunt a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends including Teresa Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) brother: James D. Sydnor.

Funeral service for Ms. Sylvia Marie Miles will be held Friday, August 4th at 11 a.m. with services at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, South Boston, VA. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends Thursday at 1200 East Hyco Road, South Boston, VA.
