Mrs. Elizabeth Dotson Green of Scottsburg, VA died on Monday, February 10th at the age of 96.

 

Mrs. Green was born in Newport News, VA on April 10, 1928 to the late Hezekiah Dotson and Luvinia Thompson Dotson and was married to the late William Edward Green. 

 

Mrs. Green is survived by her children: Lillie Hargett (Sonny) of Washington, DC, Willie Green (Hilda) of Cascade, VA, James Green (Gwendolyn), Cynthia Mitchell, all of Danville, VA and Jerrine Baker (Wendell) of Huntsville, TX; (5) grandchildren; (13) great grandchildren; (1) sisters, Willie Mae Johnson; (1) brother-in-law, Joseph Green (Wanda); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (1) son, Leandre Green; and (2) brothers: Aaron Dotson and Joseph Dotson.

 

Funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth Dotson Green will be Saturday, February 15th at 11 a.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be on Friday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
