Mr. William Henry Walton of South Boston, VA died on Friday, May 3rd at the age of 62.

Mr. Walton was born in Halifax County, Va on July 21, 1954 to the late James Lee Walton and Ollie Crowder Walton and was married to Deborah Powell Walton.

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Deborah Walton of the home; (3) children: Kevin Anderson (Felicia), Tasha Hall (Morris), and Sekethia Walton; (4) grandchildren; (4) sisters: Gertie Link, Vernell Bruce (Paul), Patricia Chandler (Rueben) and Sandra Davis (John); (2) brothers: Kenneth Walton (Cathy) and Terry Walton (Petra); (3) brothers-in-law; (2) sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews including Gerren Walton (Latoya) who he consider as a son,  cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) sister, Alis Leigh and (2) brothers: James “Lewis” Walton and Millous “Jerome” Walton.

Funeral service for Mr. William Henry Walton will be Saturday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Willie N. Yancey, eulogist. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

​

Public viewing for family and friends will Friday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
