Ms. Mollie Ann Tucker of Elizabethtown, KY and formerly of Halifax County, VA died April 27th at the age of 71.

Ms. Tucker was born in Halifax County, VA on May 5, 1952 to the late Cleveland Roosevelt Tucker, Sr. and Louise Edmonds Tucker. She was a retired employee from The Department of Defense HRQ Headquarters, Ft. Knox, KY.

Ms. Tucker is survived by (1) daughter, LaVada M. Tucker Harmon; (2) sons: Darrell J. Mitchell, Jr., and Darrick D. Mitchell; (12) grandchildren; (7) great grandchildren; (4) siblings: Mattie Bates (Maurice), Annie Bates, Mamie Irvin (Darnell) and Janetta Sydnor (Michael); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (3) siblings: Cleveland Tucker, Jr., Helen Tucker Bailey Banks and Ellen Tucker Harris.

Funeral services for Ms. Mollie Ann Tucker will be held Saturday, May 11th at 2:30 p.m. with services at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax, VA. Burial will follow in the Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

​

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at The Crawford House.
