Mrs. Eva Logan Robertson of Hampton, VA and formerly of Halifax County, VA died Thursday, April 25th at the age of 100.

 

Mrs. Robertson was born on October 29, 1923, in Halifax County, VA to the late Cleveland Logan and Fannie Terry Logan. She was married to the late Otis E. Robertson and was a member of Dan River Bethel Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Robertson is survived by (1) son, Willie E. Robertson (Inez); (2) granddaughters: Sasia Qualls and LaShawn Robertson; (5) great grandchildren; (11) great great grandchildren; (1) sister, Adell Tyree (Russell); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by (1) son, Hearld; (1) daughter, Annie Mae; (4) sisters and (3) brothers.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Logan Robertson will be held Thursday, May 2nd at noon with services at Dan River Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Wilkerson as eulogist. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until 6 p.m.
