Mr. Henry Marshall Bailey, Jr. of Durham, NC and formerly of Halifax County, VA died on Thursday, October 31st at the age of 56.

 

Mr. Bailey was born in Halifax County, VA on August 17, 1968 to Virginia Ann Cameron Logan and the late Henry Marshall Bailey, Sr. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

 

Mr. Bailey is survived by his mother, Virginia Cameron Logan (Garland “Mac” Logan, Jr.) of South Boston, VA; (3) children: Derek Couch, Mercedes Bailey, all of Durham, NC and Arteriah Paige of Raleigh, NC; (9) grandchildren;  (2) sisters: Beverly Cameron Logan (Kenneth) and Kimberly Thaxton; (3) aunts; (1) uncle; his step mother, Sarah Bailey; (2) step brothers; (2) step sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends including Raven Noell. 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Marshall Bailey, Jr. will be held Sunday, November 10th at 2 p.m. with services at The Deliverance Tabernacle with Bishop Lawrence R. Burrell, Sr., Pastor and Apostle Carl D. Lykes, Sr., eulogist. Burial will follow in Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9th from noon until 6:00 p.m.
