Ms. Yolanda Earline Garrett of Danville, VA and formerly of South Boston, VA died Friday, March 22nd at the age of 49.

 

Ms. Garrett was born in Halifax County, VA on October 10, 1974 to Saint Claire Garrett and Linda Dunkley Garrett. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

 

Ms. Garrett is survived by (1) son, Jimmell Tate of Dumfries, VA; (1) daughter: Kasie Bradford of Arlington, VA; her father: Saint Clair Garrett of South Boston, VA and her mother Linda Dunkley Garrett of Danville, VA; (1) brother: Emanuel Garrett (Melanie) of Danville, VA; a host of nieces and nephews; (2) aunts: Connie Carrington and Catherine Dunkley; (3) uncles: Garland Dunkley (Glenda), Kenneth Dunkley (Callie ) and Willie Dunkley and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including Jillian Weaver and Jennifer Miller.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Yolanda Earline Garrett will be held Friday, March 29th at noon with services at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Nathalie, VA with Bishop John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral home.
