Rickie Perry

April 28, 1959 - March 5, 2024

Mr. Rickie Perry of South Boston, VA died on Tuesday, March 5th at the age of 64. 

 

Mr. Perry was born April 28, 1959  in Washington, DC  to the late Pearl Dargan. He was raised by the late Carrington Wardell and Mary Jane Coleman in Alton, VA.  He was married to Lois Perry and was a member of Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church.

 

Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Lois Medley Perry of the home, (4) children: Tabatha Moore, Leon Medley, Lucas Medley (Francine) and Margue Medley (Shameika); (16) grandchildren: including the devoted Ta’Mora Washington of the home; (1) great grandchild; (6) siblings: Linda Billings (Jackie), Sandra Dargan, Harold Dargan, Kim Miller (Rodney), Pam Dargan (Gerald) and Cherie Dargan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (3) brothers:  Charles Wallace, Samuel Perry and Earl Perry.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Rickie Perry will be Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m.  at South Boston Church of God with Suffragan Bishop Bernard Wilkins, eulogist. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, from noon until 6:00 p.m.  at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA.
