Ms. Margie Rae Ford of South Boston, VA died Tuesday, August 6th at the age of 87.

 

Ms. Ford was born in North Carolina on March 18, 1937 to the late Joseph Ford, III and Lenory Crenshaw Ford. She was an educator for Halifax County Public Schools for many years and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Halifax, VA.

 

Ms. Ford is survived by (1) brother, Claude Ford of Halifax, NC; (3) nieces; (2) nephews; and a cousin, Floretta Ross Neal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) sister, Ethel F. Speight; and (3) brothers: Wilson Ford, Andrew Ford and Curtis Ford.

 

A memorial service for Ms. Ford will be held Monday, August 19th at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
