Mr. Jessie James West of Halifax County, VA died on Monday, August 5th at the age of 43.

Mr. West was born June 6, 1981 in Halifax County, VA to Sylvester Faulkner and May Faulkner.

Mr. West is survived by (6) children; (2) grandchildren; his parents: Sylvester and May Faulkner; (3) sisters; grandparents; (1) great great-grandmother, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by (1) sister.

A Celebration of life for Mr. Jessie James West will be Monday, August 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Traynham Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday, from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
