Mr. Harold Davis “David” Link of Alton, VA died Thursday, July 25th at the age of 61.

Mr. Link was born in Halifax County on January 30, 1963 to the late Henry Eugene Link and Nannie Odessa Murphy Link.  

​

Mr. Link is survived by (1) daughter, Shaquana J. Lindsey of Durham, NC; (3) sons: Leon Medley of Richmond, VA, Darrelle Lindsey of Fayetteville, NC and Nico Lindsey of Durham, NC; (7) grandchildren; (2) sisters: Bonnie Carrington of Alton, VA and Deloris Green (Robert) of South Boston, VA; (1) brother, Barry Link (Tracey) of Durham, NC; (1) aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by (2) brothers: Willie Link, Jr. and Michael Link; (1) sister, Barbara Cunningham;  and (1) nephew, Bernard Carrington, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Harold Davis “David” Link will be held Tuesday, July 30th at 1:00 p.m. with services at Mayo Grove Baptist Church with Elder Carl Johnson, eulogist.

​

Public viewing for family and friends will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Monday from noon until 6:00 p.m.
