Ms. Nicolette June Williams of South Boston, VA died on Wednesday, February 21st at the age of 51.

Ms. Williams was born May 5, 1972 in Halifax County, VA to Doresa Lindsey Williams and the late Junior Willie William, Sr. and was a member of Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church.

Ms. Williams is survived by (1) daughter, Laresa Williams of South Boston, VA; (1) son, Joshua Williams of South Boston, VA; (1) granddaughter, Jalaya Barksdale; (1) grandson, Jahdari Barksdale; her mother: Doresa Lindsey of South Boston, VA; (3) sisters: Tanya Brown, Jill Brooks and Tawana Medley; (2) brothers: Junior Willie Williams, Jr. and Michael Edmonds; (3) step-sisters: Katrina Lindsey, Cassandra Blanding and Ida Medley; (2) step-brothers: Quentin Lindsey and Clyde Lindsey; (3) aunts; (1) uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Mark Adkins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by (1) grandson, Jayden Barksdale; and (1) sister, Inovoa Davis.

Funeral services for Ms. Nicolette June Williams will be Friday, March 1st at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church on Ferry Street. Burial will follow in Rose Garden Cemetery. 

​

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from1 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
