Mr. Benjamin Archie Richardson of Washington, DC and formerly of Halifax County, VA died on Sunday, February 11th at the age of 77.

 

Mr. Richardson was born March 22, 1946 in Halifax County, VA to Archie Alexander Richardson and Gracie Virginia Wade Richardson. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Alton, VA.

 

Mr. Benjamin Archie Richardson is survived by (1) sister: Ada Richardson of Washington, DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (4) sisters: Annie Richardson, Queen Esther Chavious, Jean A. Coleman and Shirley Richardson.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin Archie Richardson will be Monday, February 19th at 1:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, Alton, VA with Rev. Harvey Bigelow, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
