Mrs. Florine Crews Edmonds of Halifax, VA died on Saturday, December 30th at the age of 84.

Mrs. Edmonds was born May 4, 1939 in Halifax County, VA to the late Tommie Crews and Malissie Ferrell Crews and was married to the late Walter Beverly Edmonds, Sr. She was a member of New Arbor Baptist Church.

Mrs. Edmonds is survived by (3) daughters: Ella Pannell and Jacqueline Chandler, both of Halifax, VA and Venus Gorham of Danville, VA; (5) grandchildren; (8) great grandchildren; (3) siblings: Mamie Tucker, Marie Leigh and George Crews (Annette Crews) all of Halifax, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (1) son:  Walter Beverly Edmonds, Jr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Florine Edmonds will be Thursday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. at New Arbor Baptist Church with Pastor Nelson Stamps, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Wednesday from 1 p.m. t0 6p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
