Mrs. Lula Tucker Ferrell of South Boston, VA died Monday, December 11th at the age of 91.

 

Mrs. Ferrell was born in Halifax County, VA on December 18, 1931 to the late Amos Tucker and Mariah Palmer Tucker. She was married to the late Henry Ferrell, Sr. and was a member of Five Fork Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Ferrell is survived by (1) daughter: Betty Crews of South Boston, VA; (3) grandchildren; (5) great grandchildren; (1) brother: James Tucker of Richmond, VA; former son-in-law: Alvin E. Crews; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends including, the devoted, Harvey Johnston and Ann Johnston. In addition to her parents and husband, Lula was preceded in death by (4) brothers: Joseph Tucker, Emmitt Tucker, Junior Tucker and Henry Tucker, Jr.; and (1) sister: Helena Williams.

 

Memorial services for Mrs. Lula Tucker Ferrell will be held Tuesday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. with services at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Moses Dixon officiating.
