Mrs. Latonya Denise Sims of South Boston, VA died on Saturday, December 9th at the age of 49.

 

Mrs. Sims was born October 14, 1974 in Halifax, VA to Judy Hughes Smith and Bobby Smith and Amos of South Boston, VA. She was married to David Sims and was a member of First Baptist Church, South Boston, VA.

 

Mrs. Sims is survived by (1) son, Carlo Cook (Danyell) of Fayetteville, NC; (1) daughter, Brooke Sims of the home; (1) stepdaughter, Antanashia Dixon of South Boston, VA; (1) stepson, David Saunders of Tampa, FL; (3) grandchildren; (1) brother: Bobby Venable of South Boston, VA; grandmother: Jannie Hughes of South Boston, VA;  (6) aunts; (4) uncles; (2) sisters-in-law; (4) brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Latonya Denise Sims will be Friday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, South Boston, VA with Rev. Allan Smith, eulogist. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
