MRS. PATRICIA TUCKER KING

 

Mrs. Patricia Tucker King of Rockingham, NC and formerly of Halifax County, VA died at the age of 58.

 

Mrs. King was born on October 1, 1964, in Halifax County, VA to Loraine Judkins Tucker and the late Reverend Fred Howard Tucker, Sr. She was married to the late John Phillip King.

Mrs. King is survived by (1) son: Phillip Rashad King of Rockingham, NC; her mother: Loraine Tucker of Halifax, VA; (1) sister: Diane Tucker of Henrico, VA; (3) brothers: Fred H. Tucker Jr. (Wendy) of Halifax, VA, Matthew O. Tucker (Kimberly) of Carlsbad, CA and Acey N. Tucker (LaTroya) of Williamsburg, VA; (2) sisters-in-law: Rev. Ruth Kelly (Samuel) and Janet Woodson (Robert); god children: Travis and Tyler Edmonds; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, neighbors and church members.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Tucker King will be held Wednesday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with services at Crystal Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Broady as eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 22nd from noon until 6:00 p.m.

 

The family will receive visitors at the family home, 1109 Dudley Road, Halifax, VA 24558.
