Mrs. Mary Womack Vickers of Halifax, VA died Friday, November 17, 2023 at the age of 73.

​

Mrs. Vickers was born in Connecticut on February 18, 1950 to the late George Womack and Ethel Womack and was married to Carl Vickers. She was a member of New Hope Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and was employed at Tots and Company Learning Childcare as the lead teacher in the infant room.

Mrs. Vickers is survived by her husband, Carl Vickers; (1) son, Cartino Vickers; (2) grandchildren: Ashia Wilson (Joshua) and Tamier Vickers; (3) great grandchildren: Nyla, Nyomi, and Nola Wilson; (1) sister, Serita Durham (Larry); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) grandson, Devell Vickers and (2) brothers: Larry Womack and George Womack.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Womack Vickers will be Wednesday, November 22nd at 11 a.m. at New Hope Christian Methodist Episcopal Church Halifax, VA.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
