David Linwood Hester, age 74, of Halifax, Virginia died on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1949, the third child of the late Agnes Knight Hester and Robert Allen Hester. David was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

David is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Deborah Hester; two grandsons: Demontae Hester and Sean Pitt; two brothers: George Hester and Michael Hester (Karen); three sisters: Teresa Wilson (Connie), Vanessa Washington (Timothy), and Hope Davis (Rodney); one uncle, David Knight (Nannie); sisters-in-law: Anna Trent, Roma Trent and Marion Hester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughters: Donnetta Hester and Danielle Hester; two brothers: Robert Tyrone Hester and Eric Hester; two sisters: Rosalind Lacks and Sylvia McCraw.

Memorial services for David Linwood Hester will be Saturday, November 4th at 12: 45p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
