Mr. Otis Ferrell, Sr. died on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the age of 82.

Mr. Ferrell was born June 10, 1941 in Halifax County, VA to the late Lucille Ferrell and Clifton Garrett. He was married to the late Marion Coleman Ferrell and was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by (1) daughter: Marcia Ferrell Williams (Robert) of Clover, VA; (1) son: Craig Steven Ferrell of Clover, VA; (5) grandchildren; (3) great grandchildren; (2) brothers: Glen Foster (Sandra) of Virgilina, VA and Stacey Garrett (Teaonsha) of Goochland, VA; (1) sister: Monique Garrett of Clover, VA; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by (2) sons: Otis Ferrell, Jr. and Stacey Lee Ferrell.

Funeral services for Mr. Otis Ferrell, Sr. will be Monday, October 30th at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Chandler, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Lacks Family Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to service on Monday.
