Ms. Maurice “Puddin” Hamilton of South Boston, VA died on Tuesday, October 10th at the age of 84.

 

Ms. Hamilton was born in Halifax County, VA on November 23, 1937 to the late Thomas Harris and Maria Faulkner Harris. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, including the devoted Robert Harris, cousins, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, Maurice was preceded in death by (3) brothers: Thomas Harris, Trent Harris and Leroy Harris.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Maurice “Puddin” Hamilton will be Thursday, October 19th at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
