Mrs. Christine “Teen” Tuck Harris of South Boston, VA died on Saturday, September 23rd at the age of 88.

Mrs. Harris was born March 24, 1935 in Halifax County, VA to the late George Tuck and Alease Tuck and was married to the late Willie Donald Harris. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harris is survived by (1) daughter: Sandra Yvette Harris; (5) sons: Robert Donnell Harris (Charlotte), Silas Kenneth Harris, Oveda Roland Harris “VC”, Garland Harris and Jessie James Harris; (6) grandchildren; (4) great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (3) sons: Bobby Harris, Willie Harris, and Texas Harris; (1) sister: Rosa Woody; and (3) brothers: George Tuck, Arthur Tuck, and Leon Tuck.

Funeral service for Mrs. Christine “Teen” Tuck Harris will be Friday, September 29th at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev.  Rodney Dillard, Jr, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

​

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
