Ms. Susie Betts of South Boston, VA died on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the age of 84.

 

Ms. Betts was born October 16, 1938 in Halifax County, VA to the late Jacob James and Susie Lacks James and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was first married to Edward Williams and later to the late Kenneth Betts. She retired from Tultex after 29 years and later worked as a CNA at Summerset Assistant Living.

 

Ms. Betts is survived by (2) daughters: Karen Williams and Edwina Williams; (1) grandson, Corey Williams; (1) granddaughter, Marquita Williams; (1) great grandson, Harper Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by (11) siblings.

 

All services for Ms. Susie Betts will be conducted privately.
